Thank you to the candidates whom have already provided their policy position regarding transport matters in the West of Bankstown area.
We would also like to thank everyone (including outgoing local MPs Tania Mihailuk, Guy Zangari, Nick Lalich, and Paul Lynch) whom have been involved in fighting for our transport services.

The above tabled compiled from candidate responses to email enquiries, candidate forum statements, and public announcements as of 23 March 2023. Note: NSW Labor (unlike at previous elections) has not formally issued a written statement in support of restoring the T2 Inner West Line (Liverpool/Bankstown via Regents Park), however Member for Auburn (and Labor candidate) Lynda Voltz has spoken publicly about her support for reinstatement of the direct train to the City Circle. The Greens candidate Masoomeh Asgari has not responded to enquiries, but the The Greens party has previously given Parliamentary support for restoring the T2 Inner West Line (Liverpool/Bankstown via Regents Park) and has opposed the conversion of the Sydenham to Bankstown line into Metro Southwest. The NSW Government/Liberal Party position is reflected in the column for candidate Mohammed Zaman.
