The Restore Inner West Line – Liverpool via Regents Park community action group thanks Canterbury Bankstown Council for joining the fight to bring back our train services.
The NSW Government unfairly removed the City to Liverpool via Regents Park service in October 2013 forcing commuters commuters west of Bankstown to endure multiple interchanges to reach the City Circle via Inner West.
Canterbury Bankstown Council’s commitment to write to Transport for NSW urging the restoration of the Inner West Line’s City to Liverpool via Regents Park service is an important win for long suffering commuters.
Thank you Councillor Rachelle Harika for moving the motion to restore the Inner West Line at the Canterbury Bankstown Council meeting on 25 February 2020.
Our campaign will continue fighting to ensure that all current T3 Bankstown Line stations are provided with a direct train service to the City Circle and Inner West.
