May 2023 Update

Thank you for your ongoing support of the community effort to Restore Inner West Line and Save T3 Bankstown Line. We are continuing to fight back against Transport for NSW plans to permanently close our train stations and replace our trains with bus.

It is time to restore the City to Liverpool via Regents Park and City to Bankstown via Regents Park train service, and maintain direct trains from Liverpool to Bankstown…

All 3 sides of the Sefton Junction should be used for regular Sydney Trains Network passenger servies and both the T2 Inner West/Leppington as well as the entire T3 Bankstown Line should receive an urgent digital signalling upgrade.

Please see below infographics as a summary of the changes to rail services in the West of Bankstown area from 2013 to the 2030s.

The future services in the long term for the West of Bankstown area remain in doubt. We are also concerned that no draft timetables have been produced despite Transport for NSW claiming to have commenced planning for future services since 2020.

Transport for NSW refuses to confirm that T2 Inner West Line (City to Liverpool via Regents Park) services will operate in the long-term future and is also attempting to confuse commuters by incorrectly naming City to Liverpool via Regents Park services as the T3 Bankstown Line (despite Bankstown not being a stop on the route).
